Dimples are adorable dents on your face which is just cute facial deformity.
Sometimes it is genetic too, that means if the parents have dimples in their cheeks then there is high possibility that the offspring/child may have it too. Somme people have this facial deformity naturally whereas some use help of medical advancements to get that facial deformity.

The dimple machine was invented by Isabella Gilbert in 1936. She invented this machine because she was depressed about her lack of dimples and chose a scientific way to get them. She invented a spring loaded contraption that probably promised to “make a fine set “of dimples by pressing a pair of knob in to cheeks. But sometimes scientific methods can’t take place of natural things.
