9. If you are considering oral piercing? Choose your poison
Oral piercing is done in mouth like on teeth, tongue and gum. Dental piercing is done in your particular teeth and smiley piercing is done below your tongue.

Studies have shown that piercing in the area where there is no presence of bones like tongue, earlobe and cheeks heals more rapidly than the areas where cartilage is present like ear cartilage, septum and sensitive portion like navel.
